HAERE ATU RĀ E HOA, Thank you Amber!
The RainbowYOUTH Board wishes to inform our community that our Executive Director, Amber Gribble, has provided resignation from her role. Amber has held steadfast during a time in which the community is facing rising levels of violence & political turbulence, as well as the sector’s funding sustainability challenges.
Amber joined us as the Auckland Support Manager in March 2022, a year later changing roles to be our National Support Manager in 2023. In July 2024, she was seconded to the role of Interim Executive Director before this becoming official earlier this year in March 2025, with Amber becoming the Executive Director for the organisation.
Amber stepped into the role during a challenging time for the organisation - and the board and kaimahi are ever grateful for her continued support, passion, and wish her the absolute best for the new season she’ll enter into. Please, join us in celebrating the kind, generous, passionate, and hardworking outgoing Executive Director that is Amber.
Applications to become RainbowYOUTH’s next Kaiwhakahaere Matua / Executive Director will open on our website and social media platforms from Wednesday 10th December at 4pm.
Nei rā ā mātou mihi ki a koe e hoa, mō tō kaha, tō maia, me tō manawanui ki tō tātou nei hapori.
Caitlyn & Shawn (Co-Chairs)
on behalf of the RainbowYOUTH Board.
