Relevant Policies & Procedures
Groups & Facilitation Policy
Code of Conduct
This document contains the operational guidelines under which all Rainbow Youth affiliated groups are run and under which all members and group facilitators must operate. Group facilitators must be made familiar with these policies and guidelines in addition to those relevant to their role as a volunteer within Rainbow Youth, e.g. the complaints procedure, the Volunteer Policy.
We want RainbowYOUTH to be a place where people love to work and volunteer, where they learn and grow in a supportive and high performing environment. Both RainbowYOUTH (as the employer) and employees and volunteers have responsibilities to create this environment. The purpose of this document is to be clear on what these expectations and responsibilities are.
Complaints Policy & Procedure
Centre, Group & Lockdown Procedures
RainbowYOUTH takes any and all formal complaints very seriously. A formal complaints procedure and conflict resolution policy is detailed here in order to ensure that all parties are treated fairly and that the reputation of the organisation is not damaged.
These procedures outline the steps to take in the case of an aggressive person gaining access (or a person who becomes aggressive after gaining access) to the RainbowYOUTH centre, or a space that RainbowYOUTH is using to run a group or event.
Facilitator Supervision Procedure
This procedure outlines the role of the RainbowYOUTH Contracted Supervisor. The role is to provide ongoing supervision sessions to RainbowYOUTH Social Group facilitators, and wider LGBTIQ+ youth group leaders.
