Te Moana-a-Toi | Bay of Plenty
Our social groups are smoke, alcohol & drug free spaces where young people can connect with one another in a friendly, supportive and inclusive environment. Each of our groups are youth-led and hosted by trained facilitators. Our groups aren't just for “out” queer and gender diverse youth - if you're unsure about your identity, this is just as much your space as it is ours!

LGBTea
LGBTea is a social group in Tauranga for ages 18-27, led by trained facilitators Ash (they/them) and Miles (he/him). We're a fun and vibrant group who love to laugh and share fun memories with each other. There's food and drinks available, as well as a plethora of games to play. We'd love to have you come along and join in the fun with us!
WHO: 18-27 year olds who identify as LGBTIQ+, MVPFAFF+ or questioning
WHERE: Tauranga RainbowYOUTH Drop-in Centre, Suite 208, 45 Grey Street
WHEN: 5pm - 7pm Wednesdays, Fortnightly

Tauranga Pryde
TaurangaPryde is a social group in Tauranga for Rainbow Youth aged 13-18. It is run by two trained volunteers, Connor (they/he) and Larina (she/her), who love being able to support the community! We have an abundance of different board games, card games, art supplies and other activities, there is always food and heaps of laughs! Everyone is super welcoming and would love to have you!

New faces are always welcome! Choose which group(s) you'd like to go to, follow their social media and check out our social groups calendar. Then, show up at their next session, and our facilitators will take you under their wing and welcome you into the space! Parents and caregivers can drop off a young person at a group but aren't allowed to attend. This is so we can protect our young peoples' safety and privacy.
