Whangaparāoa Rainbow Group is run by Katie (she/her) , Evelyn (they/them), and Lydia (she/her) —three trained volunteer facilitators who are passionate about supporting other young people in their community. Our goal is to create a fun, welcoming space where young people can hang out, share some kai, and have great chats. We're also eager to facilitate new activities that rangatahi want to try. So far, we've explored badge-making, colouring-in, and Jackbox games! New faces are always welcome.
WHO: High school aged young people who identify as LGBTIQ+, MVPFAFF+ or questioning
WHERE: Whangaparāoa Library, 9 Main Street, Stanmore Bay
WHEN: 5.30pm - 7.30pm Tuesday, fortnightly
