Our Fundraising Coordinator Paul is running a free 3 hour workshop that looks at writing applications to the JAPHA fund (a monthly grant of up to $1,000 to Aucklanders who have small and creative projects that will achieve social or environmental good).
Attendees will learn how to:
– Find out how to get funding for a cool project & you have in mind (it can be pretty much anything!)
– Learn how to write successful grants and cover letters for employment, scholarships, course applications and other opportunities (so many useful adult skills!)
– Brainstorm projects to help the queer & trans* community in NZ (being a good person is always fun.)
– Learn about a new opportunity to apply for $1,000 funding for a personal community project (the JAPHA fund that comes around every month!)
WHEN: Saturday, 6th September – 2PM – 5PM
WHERE: The RY Drop-in Centre (281 Karangahape Road)
