Facilitator Training Hui

Our 3-day Auckland-based facilitator training hui is for those who are new to facilitating a queer, gender diverse and intersex peer support group, or are keen to refresh their facilitator skills. This is an awesome opportunity to learn from, and share knowledge with like-minded rangatahi.

We'll cover the responsibilities of a facilitator, sexuality and gender, understanding Te Tiriti o Waitangi, supervision, and so much more!

Here's some more info:

WHO: Anyone between 15 and 27, who are either a current or soon-to-be facilitator of a queer and/or gender diverse and intersex peer support group.

WHEN: Friday 17th April to Sunday 19th April

WHERE: Te Tahawai Marae (we will be sleeping on the marae, noho marae styles)

There is no cost to attend the hui. All food is provided, as is accommodation!
Due to the nature of this hui, it is important that you are comfortable among large groups of people and are focused for the duration of the workshop.

*as per usual, this event is smoke, alcohol and drug-free.
